Living With Lung Cancer? Paid Writing Opportunity

Posted on January 22, 2024

We invite you to share your personal story about living with lung cancer. Your experiences are unique and valuable. We believe that by sharing them, you can help others going through similar challenges.

Your first-person article should be 500 to 800 words. It will be eligible to be published on MyLungCancerTeam, with full credit to you as author. If your piece is selected, our editorial team will review your submission and may edit it lightly for style and clarity. MyLungCancerTeam will send you an agreement via DocuSign, and you’ll be compensated for your article.

Below, we list some potential topics. It’s OK if your article falls outside these suggestions — we want your story to be authentic to you and your experience. We encourage you to hone in on a specific element or moment in your lung cancer journey.

Example Themes

  • An aspect of living with lung cancer, such as the condition’s effect on your body
  • Lung cancer and diet, such as which foods you eat and which you avoid
  • A specific symptom, such as shoulder pain, night sweats, back pain, or coughing
  • Your experience with a treatment, such as radiation, targeted therapy, lobectomy, or chemotherapy
  • General tips for living with lung cancer

To submit your article, please fill out the following form. If your piece is selected for publication, you’ll be contacted via email, and payment will be facilitated through an invoice.
